Sumario: | A new ATLAS measurement of the differential production cross-section of B+ mesons in the region|η|<2.25and9<pT <120GeVispresented,togetherwiththedifferentialcross-sections of b-hadrons via the decay mode D∗+μ−X. Comparisons with next-to-leading-order and fixed- order-next-to-leading-logarithm predictions are made. Recent studies performed by ATLAS on the production of Υ (nS), n=1, 2, 3, in the region |y| < 2.3 and pT < 70 GeV are shown. Theoretical production models are compared to differential cross-sect ions and cross-section ratios for Υ (nS). Finally, the associated production of quarkonia and vector bosons is discussed as a novel method for comparing colour singlet and colour octet production models. Results on J/ψ +W production are presented. |
