ATLAS results for Higgs and SUSY searches at the LHC

This presentation gives an overview of recent results of the ATLAS experiment in the area of SUSY searches and Higgs boson measurements. The focus lies on the interpretation of the results and on the measurement of Higgs properties. For SUSY, a short summary of inclusive searches, EW and stop production, and on final states with tau leptons is given. For the Higgs, an emphasis lies on the major results in the area of mass and coupling measurements and on constraints on invisible decays.
