Sumario: | The ATLAS Collaboration has conducted a search for direct stop squark pair production at 8 TeV in final states with one electron or muon. Two stop decay modes are analyzed: top quark + LSP and b quark + chargino. In addition to analyzing the entire 2012 21 fb-1 dataset, the analysis presented in this poster describes several improvements made to the search. In particular, the mechanics of the shape fit in the stop to top + LSP decay channel are outlined before the final exclusion results are shown. Furthermore, there is a study on the affects on the exclusion limit due to the stop mixing matrix. No evidence is found for weak scale SUSY. |
