Sumario:ATLAS measuremets of the sum of transverse energy of particles as a function of particle pseudorapidity $\eta$ in proton-proton collisions at centre of mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV, using ATLAS detectors at the Large Hadron Collider.\nThe measurement are performed in the region of $\eta$ < 4.8 for two event classes: those requiring the presence of particles with a low transverse momentum and those requiring particles with a significant transverse to the hard scatter.\nThe distributions are compared to the predictions of various Monte Carlo event generators, which generally tend to underestimate the amount of transverse energy.\nIn addition, a comparison of the profile of $\sum{E_{\text T}}$ against the leading jet transverse momentum $p_{T}^{\text {lead}}$ in range from 20 GeV to 800 GeV for data and MC generators is presented for samples of calorimeter inclusive jets and exclusive dijet events.\n\n
