Sumario: | In the CLIC SiD experiment design baseline, with the machine parameter L* set to 3.5 m, the\nfinal focus quadrupole QD0 will be placed inside the detector itself. This configuration is very\nchallenging by an integration point of view.\nAmong several other aspects, the iron-dominated QD0 and the incoming beams will need an\nactive magnetic shielding to avoid unacceptable interactions with the magnetic field generated by\nthe main solenoid of the detector.\nAccording to the baseline design, this shielding is provided by a superconducting antisolenoid,\nand this note aims to describe the procedure followed to design it. |
