Sumario: | Results are reported from a search for new physics in pp collisions at
$\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV using a dataset corresponding to a total integrated
luminosity of 19.7 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the CMS experiment. Events with two
opposite sign leptons, a large number of jets, b-tagged jets, and large
missing transverse energy are used to search for new physics resulting in multiple top quarks and missing transverse energy in the final
state. An entirely data-driven technique is used to estimate the standard
model background, and the results are interpreted in the context of a
sypersymmetric model in which pair produced gluinos decay to a pair of
top quarks and a neutralino. |
