description | The Standard Model of particle physics yields a successful description of the fundamental particles and their interactions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider studies these interactions in a multitude of different analyses, which allow to test the Model at unprecedented energies. The Standard Model parameters can be measured with high precision and contributions from potential new physics can be constrained. In this review, a selection of the latest analyses of Standard Model processes performed by the ATLAS collaboration is shown. This includes the inclusive jet cross-section and ratio measurement, the analysis of photon plus jet production and high-mass Drell-Yan processes, analyses of ZZ and W±Z production as well as a study of the Z/γ∗ forward-backward asymmetry. Also, the measurement of W production in association with a charm hadron are discussed. |
