Sumario: | The ATLAS experiment has discovered a new boson with properties consistent with the Standard Model Higgs boson. Next will be to determine whether this Higgs- like particle is fully responsible for mass generation. There are natural extensions to the Standard Model that are compatible with the current experimental results. THose models predict the existence of an additional heavy neutral Higgs-like resonance (mH > 200 GeV). Search for a heavy Higgs using the ATLAS detector will be presented in this proceeding. |
