description A critical part of studying the Higgs boson is searching for and quantifying its decays to fermions, including $\tau\tau$, $bb$, and $\mu\mu$. These channels are characterized by poor mass resolution, large backgrounds, and/or low branching fractions. Both ATLAS and CMS have mature programs aimed at probing these experimentally challenging channels, which are summarized and compared in this talk. The most sensitive channels in both the $bb$ and $\tau\tau$ decay modes are at or near Standard Model sensitivity, with many more channels rounding out the picture, including $h\rightarrow\mu\mu$.
