Sumario: | The emission channeling (EC) technique is used to determine with high precision the lattice sites of elements/impurities in a single-crystal. With the introduction of a cooling system the EC technique will allow to study the traveling of the impurities in the single-crystal as function of temperature, below room temperature. EC further allows the study of the elements/impurity vibrations and its eventual anisotropy along different lattice orientations. This report presents the planning and implementation of the cooling station for an existing emission channeling chamber. |
