$B$ Physics and Quarkonia at the CMS experiment

The most recent results on $B$ Physics and Quarkonia physics at the CMS experiment are presented. The focus of the talk is on the charmonia polarization, a search for new bottomonium states and the measurement of the $B^0_s \to\mu^+\mu^-$ branching fraction.
