Sumario:We present an overview of the current status of the recent jet measurements in PbPb and pp collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 2.76 TeV that are studied with the CMS detector at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed using the anti-$\rm k_T$ sequential reconstruction algorithm on particle flow objects. To distinguish between different possible energy loss mechanisms and to provide an important experimental check on the validity of the assumed jet fragmentation, inclusive jets, flavor tagged jets and jet shapes are studied.
