Acceptable noise rate in the SiPM of the Fibre Tracker

In this note I review the constraints defining the acceptable noise for the SiPM of FT. The main constraint come from the data volume, but pattern recognition and zero suppression aspects are also discussed. We estimate that a rate of 2 MHz per SiPM after zero suppression would be acceptable.
