Search for direct production of EWK SUSY in 3-lepton final states using $20\ \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$-collision

A search for the direct production of charginos and neutralinos in final states with three leptons and missing transverse momentum is presented. The analysis is based on $20.3\ \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}=8\ \mathrm{TeV}$ proton-proton collision data recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider during 2012. No deviation from the Standard Model expectations was observed and limits are set in simplified supersymmetric models including models where charginos and neutralinos decay via sleptons, staus, gauge bosons or Higgs bosons. The results significantly extends previous exclusion limits.
