A Search for Resonant Higgs-Pair Production in the bbbb final state

Sumario: | A search for TeV-scale resonances decaying to hh->bbbb is performed in 19.5 fb^-1 of proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV data, recorded by ATLAS in 2012. The decay of each electroweak-scale boson is reconstructed from a pair of b-tagged jets, clustered with the anti-kT jet algorithm with R= 0.4, that have low angular separation and form a dijet with pT > 200 GeV. The Randall-Sundrum KK graviton is used as the benchmark signal for this search. |
