V+jet+HF production

This contribution illustrates the most recent measurements of the associated production of a vector boson and light jets or heavy quarks at LHC and Tevatron. Accurate differential cross-section measurements are compared to different perturbative QCD predictions and several Monte Carlo generators. Understanding the production dynamics of W/Z + jets and W/Z + c, b-jets processes is of paramount importance for Higgs boson measurements and for many new physics searches.
