Sumario:The final deliverable of the EuCARD Task 7.5 activity is a 20 m long Superconducting Link made of HTS (High Temperature Superconducting) cables of the type and in quantity as required for the powering of the LHC superconducting circuits fed from LHC P7 (50 cables rated at 600 A). Following an intense R&D activity, which included the study of novel concepts of cables made from HTS tape conductor and the development and test of prototype units, the final deliverable was successfully assembled at CERN in May 2013. This document reports on the activity that culminated with the assembly of the 20 m long HTS Superconducting Link.
