Sumario:In the framework of the LHC Injectors Upgrade (LIU) project [1], this document summarizes the PSB Machine Development (MD) studies in 2012-2013, before the Long Shutdown 1 (LS1), focused on space charge eects analysis at the future 160 MeV injection energy from the Linac4. Different phenomena have been analysed to understand the behaviour of the machine and permit benchmarks with simulation codes.
