Sumario: | A search for the neutral Higgs bosons predicted by the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) is reported. The analysis is performed on data from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8TeV collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The sample was collected in 2012 and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 19.5-20.3 fb$^{−1}$ Higgs bosons decays into oppositely-charged $\tau$ lepton pairs are considered for final states. No significant excess over the expected background is observed and exclusion limits at the 95\% confidence level are derived for the production cross section of a scalar field as a function of its mass, and for h/H/A production in the MSSM as a function of the parameters $m_A$ and $\tan\beta$. |
