Sumario: | The Tile calorimeter is the central hadronic calorimeter of ATLAS. It is a sampling calorimeter which is key in detecting hadrons, jets, hadronic decays of tau leptons and contributing to the missing transverse energy. It can be characterized by the ratio of the energy measured in the calorimeter over the momentum measured by the tracking system, which is smaller than one for hadronic showers. We study the evolution of this quantity along the year 2012 for isolated hadronic showers in proton proton collision data. |
