Charged pion reconstruction in a High Granularity Calorimeter environment
The goal of the project is to contribute to the study of the performance of the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCal) designed to operate in Phase II of the CMS detector at the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC). The main properties of the interactions of charged pions with the calorimeter are studied.
