Sumario: | A DAQ system based on classic electronics named SRS (Scalable Readout System) has been developed within the Micro Pattern Gaseous Detector (MPGD) community in the recent years. The flexibility and modularity of the system makes it a powerful tool to be used in simple setups like cosmic stands or test beams, as well as allowing for the integration into a more complex DAQ framework. It will be used for two main tasks within the ATLAS Muon community: the Micromegas detector certification and the readout of a Micromegas prototype in the ATLAS experiment during the next run starting on the next year. Within the Atlas Muon community a new data acquisition software has been recently released. The MMDAQ3 is a very flexible software that allows the use of different types of detectors and electronics. My task was to develop a new graphical interface for the configuration of the data acquisition system, and to provide new features to the software according to users' feedbacks during the Micromegas Test-beam period (7-27 August 2014) |
