Study of $D^0-\overline{D^0}$ mixing using final states with $\pi^0$

This document summarizes my work as a CERN Summer Student in LHCb, carried under the supervision of Dr. Angelo Di Canto, which consisted in a preliminary study of charm mixing using $D^0\to K^+\pi^-\pi^0$ decays.
