Measurements of Higgs Boson Spin and CP at the LHC
Measurements of the spin-parity properties of the recently discovered boson with a mass near 125~GeV are presented. The results are based on data samples from ATLAS and CMS detectors corresponding to integrated luminosities of up to 5.1~$fb^{-1}$ at 7~TeV and up to 20.7~$fb^{-1}$ at 8 TeV in proton...

description | Measurements of the spin-parity properties of the recently discovered boson with a mass near
125~GeV are presented. The results are based on data samples from ATLAS and CMS detectors
corresponding to integrated luminosities of up to 5.1~$fb^{-1}$ at 7~TeV and up to 20.7~$fb^{-1}$ at 8 TeV in proton proton collisions at the LHC. The results provide evidence for the spin-0 nature of the Higgs boson, with positive parity being preferred. A good consistency and complementarity between the two collaborations results allow to to exclude all tested hypotheses of $J^P = 0^-$, $J = 1$ and $J = 2$ states with more than 99.9\% confidence level. |
