Study of the reaction $\overline{p}p \rightarrow \overline{\Lambda}\Lambda$ close to threshold
The reaction p p → Λ Λ has been studied near threshold at LEAR with a decay spectrometer using a system of wire chambers. Total and differential cross sections, as well as Λ and Λ polarization data are shown. Future possibilities of the experiment are indicated.
