Sumario: | Measurements of soft particle production have provided valuable insight on properties of the evolution of the quark-gluon plasma in Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC. In particular, measurements of flow harmonics using the azimuthal angle distributions of low-pT particles directly probe the strongly-coupled dense medium and test hydrodynamic model descriptions of its evolution. Recently the ATLAS experiment provided valuable measurements of event-by-event flow as well as on the correlations between different order harmonics low-pT particles reconstructed in p+Pb and Pb+Pb collisions. Results will be presented from a variety of single and multi-particle measurements in Pb+Pb and proton-Pb collisions that probe the collective dynamics of the quark gluon plasma and possibly provide evidence for collectivity in even small systems. |
