description Studies for a search for beyond the standard model physics in events with at least one photon, missing transverse energy and jets are presented. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb$^{−1}$ of pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV, recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The missing transverse energy distribution in events containing at least one photon and at least two hadronic jets is compared to the spectra expected from standard model processes. Expected limits are calculated in the context of General Gauge Mediated SUSY with the next-to-lightest SUSY particle being either a bino or wino-like neutralino.
