Search for a pseudoscalar boson A decaying into a Z and an h boson in the llbb final state
A search for an extended Higgs sector is carried out in the decay chain of a pseudoscalar heavy Higgs boson A into a Z boson and a light Higgs boson h, with the Z decaying into a pair of leptons (electrons or muons) and the h into a pair of b-quarks. Sumario: | A search for an extended Higgs sector is carried out in the decay chain of a pseudoscalar heavy Higgs boson A into a Z boson and a light Higgs boson h, with the Z decaying into a pair of leptons (electrons or muons) and the h into a pair of b-quarks. The light boson h is assumed to be the recently discovered standard model-like Higgs boson with a $125\,\text{GeV}$ mass. Results are presented in terms of cross section upper limits and then interpreted in Two Higgs Doublet Model scenarios. The search is based on $19.7\,\text{fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data collected by CMS at the LHC in 2012 at $\sqrt{s}=8\,\text{TeV}$. |
