Sumario: | GENAT4 Monte Carlo simulations of the Budapest PGAA detector system are presented. The obtained response functions were used to unfold the spectrum from $^{113}Cd(n,\gamma)$ reaction – measured at the Budapest PGAA – in order to determine the $\gamma$-ray strength function. Preliminary results for the total radiative neutron capture cross sections for the $^{14}N(n,\gamma)$ and the $^{113}Cd(n,\gamma)$ reactions based on the unfolding approach are presented. |
