Sumario:Searches for dark matter using events with jets, photons, heavy-flavor quarks or electroweak gauge bosons recoiling against large missing transverse momentum in ATLAS at the LHC are presented. These "mono-X" signatures provide powerful probes to dark matter production at the LHC, and allow us to interpret the results in terms of effective field theory or simplified models with pair production of WIMPs. The recent ATLAS results on the mono-X searches at 8 TeV LHC and future prospects at 14 TeV are presented.
