description | This proceeding presents the results from the measurements of the Higgs boson properties done by ATLAS and CMS experiments using the data from proton-proton collisions provided by the LHC. The data samples were collected in 2011 and 2012 and correspond to integrated luminosities of 5~fb$^{-1}$ of 7~TeV data and 20~fb$^{-1}$ of 8~TeV data. The combination of high-resolution $\gamma\gamma$ and $ZZ\rightarrow 4 \ell$ channels is used to measure the mass of the Higgs boson. Both collaborations reported results close to 125~GeV with uncertainties of 2-3 per mille. The $J^P$ structure of the Higgs boson has also been studied and both experiments were able to exclude scenarios where the Higgs boson has spin 1 or spin 2 with more than 99.9\% confidence. Via the measurement of the anomalous couplings of the Higgs boson, CMS was also able to set the first limits on the pseudoscalar component of the new boson. All observations are consistent with the SM expectation for the Higgs boson $J^{PC}=0^{++}$. The best-fit values of signal strength modifiers $\mu$ in the individual search channels as well as in the combination of all channels are consistent with unity in both experiments. Finally, the couplings of the Higgs boson were probed for deviations from the SM expectations in multiple ways, including allowing new particles in the loops and invisible/undetected decays. No significant deviation from the SM predictions was found by any experiment. |
