description Measurements of jets from highly energetic partons are considered to be one of the most direct probes of the hot and dense QCD medium produced in ultrarelativistic collisions of large nuclei. These fast partons suffer energy loss and the modification of their parton shower though interactions with the traversed medium. This phenomenon, known as jet quenching, may be experimentally investigated in a variety of ways, such as through measurements of the nuclear modification factor and modifications to the fragmentation function for inclusive high-pT reconstructed jets, or through the angular correlations of jets in multijet production. In this talk, the latest results from measurements of jet quenching in 2.76 TeV lead-lead collisions with the ATLAS detector at the LHC will be presented. The centrality of these collisions is characterized using the total transverse energy in the forward calorimeters, situated at 3.1 < |eta| < 4.9. Jets are reconstructed within the hermetic, large acceptance ATLAS hadronic calorimeter, allowing for a detailed probe of jet quenching phenomena over a wide kinematic range in transverse momentum and rapidity.
