Search for direct production of STOPs in proton-proton collisions with the data collected at the CMS experiment (8TeV)

Sumario: | We present the latest results by the CMS experiment on searches for direct production of pairs of stops. Two possible scenarios for the stop decays are considered, one in which each stop decays to a top quark and a neutralino, and another one to a bottom quark and a chargino. The event selection criteria are based on one isolated electron or muon, missing transverse energy and a minimum of four jets (at least one of them being b-tagged). The data sample correspond to an integrated luminosity of about 19.7 fb-1 of pp collisions ( 8 TeV), collected in the LHC 2012 run. |
