Sumario:The ATLAS detector has been used to search for singly produced excited electron (e*) decaying to e+γ as well as heavy neutral gauge boson (Z') decaying to e-e+. For the Z' search, results are based on pp collisions at center-of-mass energy 7 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 39 pb-1 of 2010 data. No statistically significant excess above the Standard Model processes was observed. Upper limits at 95% CL are set on the cross-section times branching ratio of narrow Z' resonances decaying to electrons as a function of the resonance mass. A lower mass limits on the Sequential Standard Model and on E6-motivated Z' models. For the e* search, results are based on a dataset of 2 fb-1 of 2011 data. Upper limits at 95% CL are set on the cross-section times branching ratio of pp to ee* to eeγ. These limits allow to set a lower mass limit on e*.
