Search for the Higgs boson produced in association with a Z boson and decaying to a pair of bottom quarks with the ATLAS experiment at LHC

Search for the Higgs boson produced in association with a Z boson and decaying to a pair of bottom quarks, where the Z boson decays to two neutrinos. The thesis focuses on two works: one is identification jets originated from b-quarks with the help of b-tagging algorithms, the other is to select the events with high missing transverse energy from the decays of Z boson to two neutrinos using the triggers. The selection is performed to select the signal from Higgs boson, then signal and background outputs are used in the statistical analysis to estimate the significance of Higgs boson signal, the systematic uncertainties are also included.
