The Higgs boson profile

Properties of a Higgs boson with a mass near 125 GeV are measured in proton-proton collisions with integrated luminosities of up to 5.1 fb-1 at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV and 20.3 fb-1 at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV, recorded by the ATLAS and CMS detectors in 2011 and 2012. The ATLAS and CMS combined Higgs boson mass meas...

description Properties of a Higgs boson with a mass near 125 GeV are measured in proton-proton collisions with integrated luminosities of up to 5.1 fb-1 at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV and 20.3 fb-1 at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV, recorded by the ATLAS and CMS detectors in 2011 and 2012. The ATLAS and CMS combined Higgs boson mass measurement is 125.09 +/- 0.21 (stat.) +/- 0.11 (syst.) GeV. Combining all production modes and decay channels, the measured signal yield, normalized to the standard model expectation, is 1.18 +/- 0.10 (stat.) +/- 0.07 (exp. syst.) +/- 0.08 (theo. syst.) for ATLAS, and 1.00 +/- 0.09 (stat.) +/- 0.07 (exp. syst.) +/- 0.08 (theo. syst.) for CMS. The observed Higgs boson production and decay rates are interpreted in a leading order coupling framework, exploring a wide range of benchmark coupling models both with and without assumptions on the Higgs boson width and the SM particle content in loop processes. The study of the spin-parity and tensor structure of the interactions of the Higgs boson is performed using the H to ZZ to 4l, H to WW to lnulnu, and H to gammagamma decay modes.
