description This document describes the calibration of $R=0.4$ anti-$k_t$ jets reconstructed in the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. It also describes how systematic uncertainties on the jet energy scale and resolution have been derived exploiting knowledge acquired during Run 1 combined with detailed studies using Monte Carlo simulations. The full set of systematic uncertainties is presented for jets in the fiducial region of the detector with pseudorapidity $|\eta| < 0.8$. These uncertainties vary from 6% for jets with tansverse momentum $p_\text{T}=20$ GeV, decreasing to 1% for jets of $p_\text{T}=200-1800$ GeV and increasing again to 3% for jets of higher $p_\text{T}$, for the average pile-up conditions expected during the 2015 data-taking period. Uncertainties related to pile-up are derived for the full $\eta$ range of the detector.
