Measurement of the differential non-prompt J/ψ production fraction in √s = 13 TeV pp collisions at the ATLAS experiment
The non-prompt $J/\psi$ production fraction $\sigma(pp\to b + X\to J/\psi+X^{\prime})/\sigma(pp\to J/\psi+X^{\prime})$ is measured in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of $13\,\mathrm{TeV}$ with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $6.4\,\mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ reco...

Sumario: | The non-prompt $J/\psi$ production fraction $\sigma(pp\to b + X\to J/\psi+X^{\prime})/\sigma(pp\to J/\psi+X^{\prime})$ is measured in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of $13\,\mathrm{TeV}$ with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $6.4\,\mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider during June 2015. The measurement is performed differentially as a function of the $J/\psi$ transverse momentum and rapidity, using the di-muon decay mode. Results are compared to equivalent measurements made at lower centre-of-mass energies. |
