Since this is the main background to the analysis, validation is needed to use the Monte Carlo for its description. The generators analyzed were POWHEG interfaced to PYTHIA and MC@NLO. A disagreement in the POWHEG+PYTHIA prediction was found, and in consequence Monte Carlo reweighting was performed. Finally the procedure to get a preliminary sample to compute parton-to-hadron correction factors is presented. |
