Search for SUSY with Higgs in the diphoton final state using the razor variables

A search for Higgs bosons in decays of supersymmetric particles is presented, using the LHC proton-proton collision data collected by the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=8$~TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $19.8$ fb$^{-1}$. Higgs bosons are reconstructed in di...

description A search for Higgs bosons in decays of supersymmetric particles is presented, using the LHC proton-proton collision data collected by the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=8$~TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $19.8$ fb$^{-1}$. Higgs bosons are reconstructed in diphoton final states in association with at least one jet. The razor variables $\mathrm{M_R}$ and $\mathrm{R^2}$ are used to categorize events into different regions to improve signal-to-background discrimination. The results are interpreted as constraints on a set of simplified SUSY benchmark models.
