Search for new phenomena in high-mass (non-) resonant production with the ATLAS detector

The presence of narrow or broad resonances decaying to a pair of fermions or bosons, or non-resonant excess in tails of mass and transverse momentum distributions are strong indications of new physics beyond the Standard Model. ATLAS searches on new phenomena in high-mass (non)resonant production ar...

Sumario:The presence of narrow or broad resonances decaying to a pair of fermions or bosons, or non-resonant excess in tails of mass and transverse momentum distributions are strong indications of new physics beyond the Standard Model. ATLAS searches on new phenomena in high-mass (non)resonant production are overviewed in this talk, highlighting more recent results from LHC Run 1 data. First LHC Run-2 results will be included if available.
