| Sumario: | During my two months period at CERN, I was involved in the work of the group studying W boson events. My task consisted in understanding the selection of W + jets events and in trying different fitting variables and templates to estimate the multi-jet contamination of W candidate events with 0, 1 and 2 additional jets. I also investigate basic kinematic quantities for data signal and Multi jet MC simulation. Through this program, my understanding about W + jets events has deepened even more. |
