Sumario: | Texas Instruments’s TPS7H1101-SP is an ultra low drop-out voltage regulator that operates under a wide range of input voltages - 1.5 to 7V. It can operate under a load of at most 3A and is radiation qualified by Texas Instruments for Total Ionizing Dose (TID) effects and Single Event Effects (SEE). For the application of the TPS7H1101-SP on the Front End Boards (FEBs) of the New Small Wheel (NSW) of the ATLAS detector, we study its susceptibility to a third kind of radiation effect -displacement damage- and present its performance in fast neutrons up to a dose of 6 x 10$^{14}$ 1MeVNE/cm$^{2}$. |
