It would be an exposition of what we are trying to do, with lots of open questions... Some topics: - Working with legacy code - Refactoring - Automated testing - New tools, new workflows (github,gitlab, jenkins...) - Open sourcing - Compromises Some characteristics of our team that can probably be common around CERN: - Small team, easy to have 'experts' owning sections of code. - Lots of code was written by 'eventual' people not longer around
