Measurement of the W$^+$W$^-$ cross section in pp collisions at 8 TeV and limits on anomalous gauge
A measurement of the W+W- production cross section in pp collisions at 8TeV is presented. The data were collected with the CMS detector at the LHC, and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 19.4 /fb.. The W+W- candidates are selected in events with two charged leptons, electrons or muons, and la...

Sumario: | A measurement of the W+W- production cross section in pp collisions at 8TeV is presented. The data were collected with the CMS detector at the LHC, and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 19.4 /fb.. The W+W- candidates are selected in events with two charged leptons, electrons or muons, and large missing transverse energy. The W+W- cross section is measured to be 60.1+-0.9 (stat.) +- 3.2 (exp.) +- 3.1 (th.) +- 1.6 (lum.) pb. |
