Sumario: | Many new physics scenarios beyond the Standard Model predict the presence of narrow or broad resonances decaying to a pair of quarks/gluons, charged/neutral leptons, photons and their combinations, or a multi-jet final state. Non-resonant excess in tails of mass and transverse momentum distributions is another strong indication of new physics. In these proceedings highlights of recent ATLAS searches on new phenomena in dijet, multi-jet, dilepton, photon+jet, diphoton and multi-jet final states using LHC Run 1 data are presented. First results using LHC Run 2 data are also shown. |
