Sumario: | This dissertation presents a measurement of differential cross sections as a function of mass, transverse momentum and rapidity of the top quark pairs using $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. This data corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 4.6 ${\it fb}^{-1}$. Events with top quark pair signatures are selected in the di-lepton channel. The reconstructed differential distributions are subtracted with estimated backgrounds and are corrected for detector response and acceptance to the top parton level. The measured differential cross sections are compared with different Monte Carlo generators of top quark pair production. The results are consistent with the Standard Model predictions and with the differential cross section results measured in the lepton+jets channel. |
