Search for a Heavy Neutral Higgs Boson decaying into Tau Pairs with the CMS Experiment at the LHC
A search for a heavy MSSM Higgs boson is performed in the φ → τ τ → eµ decaychannel, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb−1 at a p-pcenter of mass energy of 8 TeV, collected by the CMS experiment at the Large HadronCollider. The search is optimized for Higgs boson masses b...

Sumario: | A search for a heavy MSSM Higgs boson is performed in the φ → τ τ → eµ decaychannel, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb−1 at a p-pcenter of mass energy of 8 TeV, collected by the CMS experiment at the Large HadronCollider. The search is optimized for Higgs boson masses between 300 and 1000 GeVand makes the use of Boosted Decision Trees for an improved selection of signal events. The results are consistent with the predictions of the Standard Model. |
