Sumario: | Measurements of the top quark pair production as a function of top quark and ttbar kinematic variables at 8 TeV are presented as recorded by the ATLAS detector. The analysis focuses on the semileptonic decay mode and selects events with exactly one lepton (electron or muon) and at least 4 jets of which at least 2 jets pass b-tagging requirements. Differential cross-section distributions are obtained from the reconstructed events for both fiducial and full phase spaces via an iterative Bayesian unfolding technique. Good agreement between data and Monte Carlo is found over a wide range of unfolded variables though some discrepancy is observed for events with large top quark transverse momentum. |
