Search for supersymmetry with the ATLAS detector in final states with leptons, jets and missing transverse momentum

Despite the absence of experimental evidence, weak scale supersymmetry remains one of the best motivated and studied Standard Model extensions. The increased centre of mass energy of LHC run 2 has largely extended the sensitivity of searches for the quark and gluon supersymmetric partners well beyond the limits placed by run 1 analyses. This talk reports the results of the dedicated ATLAS searches in final states with leptons, using 3 fb-1 of 13 TeV proton proton collisions.
